Over 1200 individuals attended.  It was standing room only at the NRG Digital Health Symposium on Thursday as well as the special workshop on Social Media on Friday. A session on Financial Toxicity highlighted the barriers faced in cancer care and the individuals ability to pay for care. Other highlights include the announcement of the preliminary scores on the NRG Oncology Operations Center and Statistical and Data Management Center renewal grants are in the “exceptional” range. Dr. D. NEWS from the CTSU
Investigational Agent Related Forms – Please note that over the next several weeks, the CTSU will change the location of the materials and links to order Investigational Brochures (IBs) from the Site Registration subtab to the Pharmacy subtab. This means that moving forward, all materials and links related to study agents, be that for obtaining IBs or the agents themselves, will be posted together in one location. This includes the link to the Pharmaceutical Management Branch’s (PMB) Online Agent Order Processing (OAOP) application (used to order agents and IBs from PMB), as well as any forms needed to order IBs or agents from non-PMB sources (as applicable). This update applies to protocols that are open cross-network and for which the CTSU posts the Lead Protocol Organization (LPO) documents. For protocols that only have CIRB documents and/or funding information posted, please refer to the LPO website for agent information.
